Ambassador Grenell pays visit to Hamburg

Wednesday, 16 May 2048, Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg: US Ambassador to Germany, Richard Grenell, who took office the same day he arrived to Berlin on 8 May, pay a visite de courtoise to the Mayor of Hamburg Dr. Peter Tschentscher.

A 45-minutes long confidential conversation took place at the mayor’s behest at the Mayor’s Office to discuss ongoing transatlantic relations, and the ways to enhance them. According to Ambassador Grenell he is not preoccupied for a trade war that might damage relations to the EU partners.

Hamburg’s City Hall is the seat for the Mayor, the City-State Government (Senate) as well as its State Assembly (Hamburgische Bürgerschaft).
