Prada sets up diversity council

De luxe fashion brand Prada announced in February the launch of a Diversity Council to be co-chaired by film-maker Ava DuVernay, known for her activism to unearth the subtle systematic racism in the US and Theaster Gates.  The council’s mission shall be to “elevate voices of colour within the company, and the fashion industry at large” as Prada let it be stated in a press release. All in all, it shall oversee the company’s human investment in diverse talent development as well as the expansion of opportunities for young students of colour in the fashion industry….

Hermès launches makeup brand

For 2020 Hermès, the leather luxury brand, has announced that it shall likewise be offering skincare products and cosmetics. Bremen opens office in Prague

19 February 2019: Bremen opens a representation in the Golden City of Prague as a hub for harbour economics. An agreement was signed between the harbour management company Bremenports and the German-Czech Chamber of Industry and Commerce located in Prague.  Bremen’s Senator for Economics, Employment and Harbours, Martin Günthner, highlighted the fact that beside Austria, Czechia is an important economic partner for containers and the automobile industry.
